Price is per 5 chicks under 1 week old from our NPIP certified farm. The chicks that grow up to be hens will lay a light blue tinted egg and those that grow up to be roosters have the potential to produce offspring that lay blue eggs. These chicks will come in an assortment of colors. The most common colors may include Rosetta, Tibetan, Range, & Scarlet. Some may have patches of white plumage.
All Chicks are sold STRAIGHT RUN, not sexed. We are a small farm, not a hatchery so IF YOU ARE PURCHASING MORE THAN 20 CHICKS, THERE IS A CHANCE WE MAY HAVE TO FULFILL YOUR ORDER IN MULTIPLE PICKUPS SEVERAL WEEKS APART. We will try our best to accomodate larger orders when possible, but refunds will not be made if we require you to pickup across more than one hatch as we have them become available.

PICK UP PROCESS: We fulfill purchases in the order they were made. We hatch 200-300 chicks (not always of all colors/sizes possible) every 1-2 weeks in order to complete orders as quickly as possible. We cannot predict how many eggs our birds lay or how many of each color/size hatch each week so please do not ask when your order will be ready. 1-8 weeks is our fulfillment time frame. Once we have chicks available for you, we will contact you so please include your email AND phone number. You will have 48 hours to schedule an appointment and pick up your chicks or you can opt to be moved to the next available hatch date.
We do not supply anything to transport the chicks. You will need to bring your own cage with plenty of room so the chicks do not trample each other and have plenty of ventilation. Quail chicks are MUCH smaller than chicken chicks so please do not bring (non mesh) wire cages as it will not contain them. Cat carriers & appropriately sized small animal carriers with good ventilation & substrate that creates a non slip footing often work best. I do not recommend cardboard boxes. These chicks will be less than 1 week old so they will need to be kept on heat at 95 degrees F. Keep that in mind if you will be traveling with them outside the Andover area. We do NOT accept responsibility for chicks after they have left our property and we do not accept returns. Chicks require extra care and can easily overheat, get too cold, become stressed, or suffocate from items in their environment such as bedding. If you are new to quail chicks, please contact us with questions so you will be prepared to meet all their needs before they come home with you. WE WILL NOT MAKE REFUNDS IF YOU CANNOT PICK THEM UP!
